Arline Abigail Evans Civitelli, 91 of North Haven, formerly of Bradley Ave., Hamden, died at Conn Hospice June 5, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent "Red" Civitelli. Arline was born in New Haven, March 1, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Grace Barber Evans Sr., and had resided in Hamden most of her life. She enjoyed gardening but most of all was dedicated to her family which consisted of her children, Mary Beth (Tim) Cheflock, Vincent James Civitelli and John E. Civitelli, all of North Haven and was nonnie to her beloved and devoted grandchildren, Chelsea and Madi Cheslock. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Lucille Evans, Eileen D'Angelo and Raymond & John Evans. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 o'clock in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10 to 11 A.M. prior to service.
