Anthony Adolph Esposito, 86, formerly of New Haven, passed away Wednesday, September 18th in Conway South Carolina. Born in New Haven, son of the late Adolph & Bruna Bacchiocchi Esposito, Anthony worked for many years as a mechanical engineer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Esposito was predeceased by his wife, Rosalie Esposito and his brother, Robert Esposito. Anthony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He loved fishing, coloring and loved spending time with his family. Mr. Esposito is survived by his sons, Anthony George Esposito (Judy), Gerald Robert Esposito (Joann) and John Adolph Esposito (Christina); his daughter, Philomena "Mena" Ann Esposito; brothers, Eugene Esposito (Barbara) and Henry Esposito(Jan); a sister, Elizabeth Briggs(David); eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him. Calling hours will be held Sat. October 5th from 8:15 - 9:15 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am in St. Anthony's Church, New Haven, followed by interment in St. Agnes Cemetery.
