Anna Maria Forgione, 72, of Bethany, died Sept. 1, 2106 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Anna was born in Briano, Prov. of Caserta, Italy, Dec. 18, 1943, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lucia Menditto Forgione and came to the US in 1967, residing in Bethany the last 20 years. She was employed at Pratt Whitney prior to her retiring and enjoyed trips to the casino.
She is survived by her siblings, Iolanda (Giovanni) D'Onofrio of Bethany, Irene (Frank) Giulietti of New Haven, Alfonse (Veronica) Forgione of New Haven, Mario (Carmel) Forgione of North Branford and the late Emma (Armando) Fusco. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Tuesday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of he Assumption Church (Center Rd) at 11 o'clock. Interment in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:15.
