Ann Marie DeLucia Simone, 94, of Hamden,  died at Conn. Hospice, on Nov. 21, 2018. She was the wife of the late Anthony P. Simone Sr. Ann Marie was born New Haven, May 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Filomena Cassella DeLucia and resided in Hamden all her life. Prior to retiring, she worked for the Moran Brush Co for 20 years. An avid gardener, she enjoyed cooking and being with her loving family, especially her devoted grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Irene Hill of Cheshire and Phyllis (Jose) Spector of Hamden, a son, Anthony P.(Cynthia). Simone of Hamden,10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Susan Lauro, Andrew, Albert, Carl, James, Joseph, and Ralph DeLucia. Funeral services will be held Monday, in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden at 11 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6 PM.
