Angeline "Julie" Grancher, 94, of Hamden died peacefully Dec. 8th at Yale N.H.H. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Grancher. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Squeglia, she worked many years for Sear Roebuck & Electrolux of Hamden. She was an avid cook and passionate N.Y Yankee fan. Julie was a Navy wife who enjoyed the military lifestyle. She is survived by two sons; James (Palma) Grancher of North Haven, and Thomas Grancher of Cheshire, a grandson James Grancher Jr. (Lucie) of Stamford, and great grandchildren Lukas & Charlie Grancher. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial TUESDAY 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament church, and may call Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:30 in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
