Angelantonia DeCristofaro Conte, 95, of 64 Woodin St., Hamden, passed away At St. Raphael Hospital Jan. 25, 2010 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Luigi Conte. She was born in Pontelatone, Prov. of Caserta, Italy, the daughter of the late Giovanni Antonio & Filomena (Russo) DeCristofaro, Dec.3,1914 and had worked at the Henry Richards Co. for several years. She is the beloved mother of Mrs. Domenico (Maria) Esperti, Nicolina Ciarleglio, Filomena Floriano and Giovanni (Joan) Conte, all of Hamden and Joseph ( Debra ) Conte of Cheshire and the late Rosa and Antonio Conte, Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchilren and 27 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Maria DiMonaco, brothers Giuseppe and Antonio DeCristofaro and a great-grandson, Biagio Gagliardi. Funeral Friday at 9 o'clock from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10 A.M. Entombment in the Mausoleum in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M.
