Angela Brano Silvestri, 93, of Hamden, died January 12th at Connecticut Hospice. She was the wife of the late Michael Silvestri.  Angela was born in New Haven, Dec. 15, 1922, daughter of the late Peter And Nicoletta Brano.  She was a member of AMVETS Aux. Post #9.  She is survived by daughters, Diane Altieri of Branford, Jane Silvestri(Peter Hawkins) of Hamden ,and Nancy(Robert)Sanca of Orange. Grandchildren, Ronald Altieri, Melinda Santos, and Brian & Nicole Sanca, and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by brothers John & Fred Brano, and a sister Eleanor Tommessilli.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 A.M. from the Peter H.Torello & Son FH 1022 Dixwell ave. Hamden, and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Chuch. Burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery. Friends may call Thurs. from 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
