Angela Marie Carolla Santi, 91, of Miles St. Hamden ,died peacefully at her home, July 31, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Peter Santi. Angela was born in New Haven, Oct. 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Rocco and Maria Carolla and had resided in Hamden all her life. She was a secretary for several years, but mostly was a homemaker, enjoying cooking, gardening, crocheting and baking for her family whom she adored. She donated to many charities, especially her church. She is survived by her brother, Nicholas Carolla of Hamden, nieces, Bernadette(Matthew)Uscilla, Marie Sellers, Elizabeth(Ralph) Riccio,Lydia Kovi, Maria Johnson, and nephew Pete Santi, grand nieces and nephews, Krista(Dave), Angela(Mike) and many others, and gr. great nieces and nephews, David, Samantha and Joseph. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Jennie Pannone and Anthony Carolla. Funeral Tuesday at 915 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at the Church of the Ascension at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Mem. Park. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
