Anastasia Creta Crocco, 91, formerly of Circular Ave., Hamden, died Nov. 10, 2015 at Arden House after a long illness. She was the widow of Emilio Crocco. Anastasia was born in Cusano Mutri, Provence of Benevento, Italy, June 18, 1924 and had resided in Hamden for most of her life. She was employed at Henry Richards for 30 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed cooking especially for the Sunday family gatherings. She is survived by her sons, Pasquale(Lucia)Crocco and Michael Crocco, a daughter in law, Nancy Crocco, all of Hamden, a sister, Maria Antonia of Italy, grandchildren, Lisa, Clementina, Alvin, Michael and David and great-grandchildren, James, Julia, Christopher, Rocco, Emilio, Bella Paula, Matthew, Nicholas and Ryan. She was pre-deceased by a son, Carmen Crocco and a daughter in law, Paula Crocco. Friends are invited to go directly to Blessed Sacrament Church, Thursday at 10:30 AM, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, is private.
