Amelia Lotto DeMatteo, 96, of Hamden, died at  her home, May 2, 2018. She was the widow of Pasquale O. DeMatteo. Amelia was born in New Haven, June 29, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Angelina Pacileo Lotto and resided in Hamden most of her life. She is survived by her children,  Mary Wiehler (Craig of Hamden, Stephen P. DeMatteo of Naug. Charlie (Sharran) DeMatteo of Hamden and Raymond (Christine) DeMatteo of South Post, NC., her sisters, Edith Banner of Orange, Phyllis Civitello and Mary Franco, both of Hamden, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Carmel Pucillo, Anthony, Andrew and Albert Lotto. Funeral services were privately held. Interment was in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
