On December 28, 2021, Alphonse D Fattore Jr, 93, passed away peacefully in his home with his devoted wife Connie by his side. Al and Connie shared 65 beautiful years of marriage. Together they raised their four children, Joseph (Martha) Fattore, Patricia (Gordon) Williams, Linda (Larry) Saffran, and Donna (Joe) Novella. Al and Connie have 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom surrounded Al with love and laughter until his final days. Alphonse is also survived by his sister Marie Onofrio. Al was an electrician and life-long member of IBEW Local 90, and he proudly served as a US Marine in WW II. Al was a true outdoorsman who most loved being out on the ocean in his boat fishing. He was a talented artist and, after his retirement, became a master baker. Al had a warm and wonderful way with people, and he never met a stranger. He loved to celebrate any occasion and lived every day with joy. Connie and her children would like to extend thanks to Al's wonderful caregivers that have been a part of their lives over the last year. Thanks to Whitney Rehabilitation, especially Nicole, Victoria, Sabrina, and Ed, who cared for Al with such compassion. Thank you to those who provided kindness and support while helping to care for Al at home; gratitude goes out to Eileen, Maureen, Willa, and Nicky. And finally, thank you to Masonicare Hospice at Home for helping to ensure his final days were peaceful. Due to COVID concerns, Al's funeral will be private. Those wishing to express their condolences and share memories are welcome to visit Connie in the coming weeks.
