Alma "Toots" Wooten, 96, of Hamden, died Nov. 15, 2018 at Masonicare, Wallingford. Alma was born in New Haven, Feb. 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Leopold and Josephine Mirabella Cobianchi residing in Hamden most of her life. She was a loved and spirited person with a lifelong passion for dancing and could be found many a night dancing at the Savin Rock Boardwalk. She was a talented drawer and sketcher. Prior to retirement, she was a bookkeeper at Ferrucci Clothing of New Haven for many years. She is survived by two granddaughters, Tanya and Nicole Arabolos, formerly of Hamden, a sister, Annabelle DelVecchio of New Haven. 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Sharon Wooten Arabolos. Services and interment will be privately held. Memorial contributions may be made to American Parkinson Disease Ass'n., Conn. Chapter, P.O.
