Alberta "Bert" Santagata-Gift, 67, of Branford, died peacefully Sept. 20th at CT Hospice. She was the wife of Bradley Gift. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Albert & Carmella Baia, she was a retired inside direct mail sales rep.. She was a member of the Greater New Haven Postal Customer Council Board of Directors and the Hamden Emblem Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by brothers; Pat Baia of Guilford,Tony Baia of New Hampshire, Leon Baia of New Haven, and many neices & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Richard Baia. A memorial service will be held in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home 1022 Dixwell ave Hamden Saturday at 12 P.M.
