Albert J. Thibodeau, 81, of 30 Murray St., Hamden, died June 26, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth Esposito Thibodeau. Al was born in Newport, NH, April 18, 1930, the son of the late Eloi and Elise Albert Thibodeau and had resided in Hamden the last 55 years. He was a food service manager for W.T. Grant for 25 years and then for University of New Haven prior to retiring in 1998. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed his work. The family would like to thank the staff at the ICU at Yale-New Haven Hospital for their loving and professional care. Beside his wife he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Franco and two sons, Gary (Linda) Thibodeau and Vincent Thibodeau, all of Hamden, grandchildren, Elisa and Jim and his wife Lyndsey Franco, Jayson, John, Alec, Kelly and Jeff Thibodeau and a great grandson Jackson Thibodeau. He was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Wednesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. John the Baptist Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
