Agnes M. LaVorgna Fraulo, 96, formerly of Mott St., Hamden, died Oct. 1, 2016 at Arden House after a long illness. She was the widow of Louis Fraulo. Agnes was born in New Haven, April 22, 1920, daughter of the late Lawrence and Concetta DeMaio LaVorgna and was a seamstress for many years at Schwartz Bros. & Gant Shirt Co. She was an avid cook and baker, and desert was the most important part of any meal. She had many loving friends and special care givers at the Arden House and was loved by everyone that knew her. She is survived by a son, Donald(Marilyn)Fraulo of Lewes, DE, a brother, Anthony Lavorgna of CA, many nieces and nephews, especially Denise(Larry)Walter, her special care giver, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Fraulo, and siblings Madeline DeLucia and Joseph LaVorgna. A special thanks to Vitas Hospice in her final days. Funeral services will be held in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden Tuesday at 11 A.M. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 AM. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
